Tuesday

1-1's Introduction to beginners Pilates @ Roynans Dance School, Woolston by appointment only (Free taster class not applicable)

1-1 sessions for beginners are also available online by appointment only. Please use the contact form to book a session.

This session will enable you integrate into mainstream Pilates classes, teaching you the exercise fundamentals and principles, whilst keeping you safe.

Wednesday

7am - High intensity Pilates. A faster paced 30 minute session. Not suitable for beginners or those with pre-existing injuries. On line only

10am - Mummy and Me Pilates. Post natal Pilates on line only. Little people welcome to either join in or watch Mummy exercise safely. 

 

7.30pm - Improvers/Intermediate Pilates @ Roynons Dance School, Woolston 

If you have have done Pilates before and are familiar with the exercises and transitions then this is the class for you. It is a faster paced class than beginners Pilates with Intermediate exercises that will continue to challenge your abdominal strength, balance and all over body workout. 

Thursday

8am - High intensity Pilates online only class. This is a 30 minute faster paced class which concentrates on raising your heart beat and strengthening your core muscles. Not suitable for beginners or those with specific injuries.

 

10am - Back Care Pilates @ DM Dance, Northam 

More than half the adult population experience lower back pain which can be either acute or on going. If this sounds like you then come and join me for mat based Pilates exercises which will become a valuable tool in the prevention and care of further problems. My classes focus on exercise modifications from the classic and contemporary Pilates repertoire and are benefits very day functional movement patterns. We finish off the class with mindful relaxation. Suitable for beginners after induction.

I am new to Ann-Maree's classes bt not new to Pilates. In the short time I have been attending her classes, bad habits have been put right, I have had new challenges, and have enjoyed every minute of every class. I thoroughly recommend.

I am an Octogenarian widower living on my own. one years ago I had to have fairly major surgery to my spine which considerably relieved the pain and allowed me to walk again. However as i have become older and weaker i have also been limited in my ability to walk again suffering chronic back pain.

My Doctor suggested that i should investigate what Pilates has to offer and to see if the carefully programmed exercises could be of help to me. I now have weekly visits of one hour per week from Ann-Maree. She is professionally skilled at being able to ring the changes with a variety of Pilates exercises. These I find helpful with respect to my mobility and clearly stimulate the release of endorphins. She is not only clearly sensitive to the problems of the older person but she is consistently cheerful.
